What scares me is that the first set of jurors totally missed the assignment and will the next set also miss the assignment. Its really sad to keep putting this woman through the wringer and making her freaking wait. Its really makes me sick. Grrrr

but if we go to trial again, Red can change his trial completely right, and go hard for innocent?

I think the judge thinks she is 100% guilty and does not like Red at all!

I thought Sullivan is fair judge with a logical brain.
Really disappointed.
BUT! Reddington must have gone to this direction much earlier when the trial was going. I also feel there will be a 2 trial. Hopefully Red will change the strategy

I hate to think about a retrial, as I fear they would never be able to find an unbiased jury, and I don’t want Lindsey to have to go thru it again. And I wouldn’t even trust a bench trial because I don’t trust any judges in Massachusetts. This case has been horrific. But if there is a retrial, Red is clearly going to come at it from a different angle now, which is going to make it even more impossible for CW to prove a damn thing, IMO. They already have nothing. Red knows Lindsey is innocent and he will have more time to gather all of the evidence to hopefully deliver it without question, prove it without a reasonable doubt. This shit is driving me nuts tho!!!!

I’m standing with you on that same hill and it’s good to hear that you are not in favor of how red handled this. I have been so frustrated by the fact that they can’t get a ruling on her actual guilt in doing this forget about whether it’s because she was in psychosis or right mind but just that she did it because I’ve never been convinced for so many reasons and I don’t know why red didn’t take that up and run with it.

His ruling on this kinda tells me, he won’t be investigating the juror. Our only hope is that, this case isn’t heard again until, next year in July.

A rational juror might find that, but we have not found a rational juror.

I feel that the judge is doing being too biased and he’s very judgmental. I don’t think he’s being fair.
Sadly the judge had to throw it out!!!! It would be so unethical/unlawful to acquit like this after the trial with the defence lawyer presenting aggressive arguments towards non culpability which he did not raise in the same way during the trial. Reddington didn’t really entertain the question of non-guilt until now which is understandable due to how the case was set up. He absolutely should have done and been more confident about this as there is a PLETHORA of reasonable doubt due to the horrendous (non existent) police investigation and lack of corroboration. So many things that do not add up. The police easily believed it to be a psychotic/suicidal/murderous episode and did not treat it as a proper crime scene which Lyndsey herself could have been victim to. HUGE red flag. They saw a father looking so devastated and believed everything he said. Everyone has a right to be innocent until PROVEN guilty and not because someone tells you that person is guilty at the time of the crime scene and appears to be inconsolable . Scary!!! As it could happen to any of us if the police don’t dot every “I” and cross every “T”.
