@t_reymond: In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Yolanda in 2013, Baste Duterte was among those who went to Tacloban and personally witnessed the devastation faced by survivors. At 25, he could have simply stayed home. Instead, he stepped into the rubble, lent a hand, and shared the hardship of people who had lost homes, belongings and loved ones. Sometimes, being a Good Samaritan doesn’t require a position or a title. It simply means seeing people in need—and choosing to help. Twenty-five years old. No office. Just compassion in action.
