Born and raised within a half mile of Drakes well.. was just a big playground for us as kids before we really understood the significance.. love the rich history of my hometown !!

can show u where the oil flows out of oil creek above Drake we'll must be 3 foot thick of pariffin I did know in Brandsburg an old rig with a wooden drum with rope drill line on it worked in the 80s on big Egypt road cracked 18 wells hit 15 old wells that were plugged with 6inch poles ten ft long came shooting out some 50 ft in the air scary

My grandfather worked at the Oil Well Supply Co as a master machinist. I have a good bit of his things from working there. Just history now. I still live in the house my grate grandfather built in 1901 in Siverly. He built many houses in the area as a master carpenter for the City of Oil City
