Most people aren’t cleaning. I have really bad asthma so I am in the middle ground between maximalism and minimalism. 😂 I use a combo of disposable dusters, a vacuum wand, and all purpose cleaner. To dust everything takes about 45 mins for the entire house.

Tack things down with museum gel. They won’t be constantly pushed over by your duster and so it’s way faster. Also I have cats and it keeps them from pushing everything off the shelves.

we were the kids who rearranged our entire rooms several times a year. the setting it up to look like this is part to the "experience" and when its being set up to change or add stuff is the best time for deep cleaning. also better air quality can decrease the amount of...settlement. things staying in the packaging helps, cleaning a box is easier than the object inside (we love a good box or decorative packaging). it IS overwhelming so only aquire things you love looking at or cherish in some way.

I just don't clean anything really. it just gets dusty. maybe I'll have the energy to take it all down and wipe it down with some windex or something but typically I just don't.
