@jotxir: Genghis Khan was born as Temujin around 1162 on the Mongolian steppe. After his father was poisoned, his family was left alone and lived in poverty. He grew up fighting for survival. At about 20 years old, he started uniting small clans. By 1206 he brought more than 20 major tribes together and became Genghis Khan, "universal ruler." He created an army of roughly 100.000 soldiers. They moved up to 160 kilometers a day on horseback and used simple tactics that broke much larger armies. Under his rule, the Mongol Empire expanded to about 24 million square kilometers, the largest land empire in history. He also built the Yam network, with postal stations every 40 kilometers to move messages fast. The teaching is simple. Discipline and unity can turn a weak position into power. And real leadership is earned through actions, not status. #philosophy #deepthoughts #truth #creatorsearchinsights #motivationwords
