@hardy: MAN IN THE BOX 7min 52sec 🟨🟪⬜️⬛️ OUT NOW

AeroVision :

I think it’s a buck telling his story, from following his mama around to becoming a big 13-point chasing does. The man in the box is the hunter sitting in his blind. The buck knows he ought to stay away, but chasing a doe finally gets him killed. I reckon the ending is him realizing he and that hunter ain’t all that different. Both just trying to make their way in the world. Then it ends with the hunter thanking him for feeding his family. That’s some damn good storytelling.

DrFuzzie :

song represents HARDY's refusal to be "boxed in" by the traditional rules of the country music industry. He uses the song to stake his claim on his spot in the music scene, expressing a fierce determination to create art entirely on his own terms until a new generation arrives.
