@sbsnews_au: Assistant Citizenship Minister Julian Hill appeared to misspeak during a speech to migration agents in Sydney on Friday. Speaking to agents at the National Migration Conference while announcing a federal government crackdown on people who profit from attempts to "game" the system, he said "most agents do the wrong thing". As he continued his speech, several audience members were heard saying: "Do the right thing." After realising his mistake, and with the audience laughing loudly, Hill said: "Sorry, let me say that again. Scratch that from the camera." But he repeated the error before finally getting his message right the third time as the audience applauded. For more news, visit @sbsnews_au (link in bio)
