Can't fault you (or her) for blocking.
But if you're up for it, keeping the lines of communication open, to help the other side understand what they were doing wrong, that would've saved me a lot of agony and focused me on the right path. And if you give them the chance to make amends, to redeem themselves as humans - that would've meant the world to me, even with the knowledge that I'll never be her client.
