@nourishingapothecary: A longer period can completely change when you need to be looking for ovulation. One mistake we see when women with endometriosis are trying to conceive is assuming ovulation will happen around the middle of the cycle. If you have a shorter cycle and bleed for 6 or 7 days, your fertile window may come much earlier than you expect. If you’re waiting until day 14 or 15 to start trying, you may already have missed it. This is why we don’t just ask, “Are your periods regular?” We want to know: How long is your cycle? How many days are you bleeding? When are you actually ovulating? And are you timing intercourse around your fertile window? This is a sneak peek from our full YouTube episode on endometriosis and fertility with Mel and Jaime. If you need personalised fertility support, our fertility naturopaths work with women and couples Australia-wide via Zoom. www.nourishingapothecary.com #Endometriosis #EndometriosisFertility #TryingToConceive #Fertility #Ovulation
