Controversial opinion but I think Cal was the good son. He felt remorse and shame. Honorable people are like that. Aaron was very full of himself; saw Cal beneath him. Didn’t take his side when their father was being hard on Cal. So I don’t think Aaron he was actually a good son. In the end Cal got his happy ending with Abra because he was good. He broke the cycle.

Charles and Cal, They were actually the ones who represented goodness. Adam and Aron, on the other hand, were the real hypocrites. They tried so hard to portray themselves as good, morally righteous people while judging others. Morally Grey characters are always the most human.
