@newswav: The woman, who shared the incident on social media said she became concerned after noticing that the rider’s motorcycle had no headlights while travelling along a dark and relatively quiet stretch of the highway. She said she did not know the rider personally, but was worried about his safety, especially with heavy vehicles travelling at high speeds along the expressway. Rather than simply driving past, she slowed down and followed behind the motorcyclist, keeping her headlights on so that he would be more visible to other road users. The woman said she eventually accompanied the rider all the way to the Sungai Perak northbound R&R. As they arrived, the motorcyclist raised his hand towards her, which she took as a gesture of thanks. She said she was surprised because she initially thought the rider had not realised she had been following him. “I’m grateful that I could accompany him to the R&R Sungai Perak.
