it works so well in ttrpgs! Also in real life! I had a buddy go on vacation (I couldn't go because I was working & couldn't get it off). He texted me something about two got ladys. My other friends saw my reaction to the text. I deleted the text & said "don't worry about it". They basically seethed for 2 weeks & then interrogated my buddy the second he got back lol.

My sorceror still doesn't know that she is a living phylatory of her father (died in child birth, dad amchored all his souls to her so that she would never be touched by death again). It's going be one heck of a tear jerker when that gets revealed.

I’m a warlock who literally doesn’t even know who their patron is. So I allowed my dm to choose it for me so it can be a surprise to myself and my character. And he’s so excited for when that time comes
