@sydniechristmas: I don’t even really know where to start with this one… Writing this album has been a LONG process. It’s been tricky, emotional, exciting, frustrating, overwhelming and at times I’ve questioned everything. There have been so many different emotions wrapped up in creating these songs, and so much of me has gone into every single one. But now… it’s finally yours. 🥹 There’s something very scary and very special about putting music out into the world that comes from such a personal place. It’s like letting everyone peek inside your diary. These songs hold stories, feelings, memories, struggles, love, heartbreak, empowerment, motivation, hope and a whole lot of me. I’m incredibly proud of this album, not because it was easy to make, but because I kept going when it wasn’t. So here it is… my first album as an Artist. ✨ Thank you to everyone who has listened, supported, believed in me and stuck with me through the whole journey. THE ARTIST is officially & FINALLY yours🤍

C’mon Sydnie. How is this possible? I have listened to “The Artist” twice now, in solitude. I am moved at a level that defies explanation. I am not just hearing your sensational voice. I am feeling your soul, developed over your 30-some years of life. How you put all that into this album is so exceptional and praiseworthy. In your posts, you share your life with us in little snippets: goofing around, no makeup, hair in curlers, pizza with your boyfriend, running up the Rocky steps. One of us. Then you switch on your gift and transform into this otherworldly woman and give us permission to shine. We are all witnesses. Wow. You certainly let us ‘av it.
