Today’s meeting left me feeling like… yeah, this is it. The future is looking bright. I met with the owners of the building I currently live in to discuss expanding into more furnished rentals and Airbnbs. For now, we’re going to pilot the concept using my current apartment, while I explore a more stable long-term tenant option that gives me guaranteed monthly income. From there, the plan is to take another empty unit, thrift and source the furniture, set it up beautifully, and test the Airbnb model properly. What I loved most about the conversation was being able to sit across the table, talk business, share ideas and explore what this could potentially become if the model works. And honestly, shoot your shot. You never know what can come from simply asking, starting the conversation and putting an idea on the table. Right now, I’m intentionally looking at ways to reduce my personal expenses, give my existing businesses room to breathe, create new income streams and diversify my portfolio. Sometimes growth isn’t about opening another traditional business. Sometimes it’s about looking at what you already have access to and asking, “How can I make this work for me?” I’ve put my heart and soul into this rental unit, and one day I can’t wait to let you in on the full story of what and how I came about it. But for now… here we are. 🥂 I walked out of that meeting excited.
