@savingfelives: The love between a mama and her last surviving kitten 🥺 Mama Delilah lived a hard life on the streets. She had at least 7 litters. Her sixth litter was taken in by a rescue but she was left behind outside, unspayed, which allowed the vicious cycle to continue. Her seventh litter, she had 10 kittens but nine passed in the hours and days following their birth. She was left with one surviving kitten but they were both fighting for their lives. Mama Delilah developed a uterine infection, was hospitalized and underwent an emergency spay. Little Lilah was with us during that time, receiving around the clock care. She needed to be tube fed until she finally gained the strength to transition to bottle feed. And a few days later, they got to reunite in the safety of a foster home where they are loved beyond belief! Mama Delilah will never have another litter and little Lilah will certainly never have a litter of kittens in her future. Both will always and forever be safe and so loved! #kitten #rescuecat #catlovers #catmom #bestfriend
