People might be mad a Paul for splitting them up, I think it was a smart thing as a parent to make sure both Rudy and Sylphy grew up on thier own a little. He wanted to make sure that Rudy became a man before he set the rest of his life with/without Sylphy. He wasn’t ever against their relationships, she was already loved as a daughter in law, but Paul had to make sure Rudy was man enough to be on his own.
