@historylovers_001: Watch this delightful video of Chief MKO Abiola performed as an artiste in his own party singing “Onidodo Oni Moin Moin” alongside his wife, Alhaja Simbiat Abiola, during the Ileya festival in 1982. The beautiful moment was captured at one of the Abiola family’s residences in Sabo, Abeokuta, Ogun State, their hometown. The classic highlife song was popularised by Sir Victor Olaiya in the early 1960s, before Fela Kuti and his Koola Lobitos band recorded their own version later in the decade. 10 years later , Alhaja Simbiat Atinuke Abiola died on November 10, 1992, at the age of 54 in a London hospital after battling cancer.
