You don’t just get it hun. But as soon as you become a mum all of the ability to mask and deal with all of the undiagnosed ADHD symptoms just flies out the window and it the symptoms present themselves SO much more. Then you start to realise you had it all your life but motherhood has just made it harder. Look after yourself and go get a diagnosis done 🫶🏼🫶🏼 you will thank yourself x

Like others have said, motherhood exposes undiagnosed ADHD because common masking techniques and coping strategies are no longer either effective or able to be used. Promise your not alone

I was on the fence about whether I had Adhd pre pregnancy. after my daughter I 100% have it and might have some autism in there too. my masks slip and some of my coping mechanisms don't work like they used to.

The only reason I got diagnosed was because I STRUGGLED as soon as I became a mum. It’s quite common for our masking abilities to disintegrate when we enter motherhood. So yes, you probs have it. Get assessed hahaha

I was diagnosed at 11 with adhd, it didn’t “show” until I had my baby (11 months old) how bad my adhd is😂
