@rach.winardi: still getting confused on trains 🤧 #travel #japanlife #exploringjapan #creatorsearchinsights

Nick :

I’m a tourist and other tourists bother me so much because wdym you got on going the wrong way?? You had a ticket with a train number on it.. Why’d you get on a train that didn’t have your number?? Also the signs on the platform clearly say which direction the train is going by what stops it goes to.

alonosil :

I went fully expecting this to happen to me but the only thing that tripped me up about the trains was the local vs limited express. Never got on the wrong line much less going the wrong way. I used google map and it told me everything from the platform my train was arriving at to the train car I should board to make my transfer easier

Imagine taking the Shinkansen in the wrong direction…

David Birch765 :

been there, DONE THAT!!!

ObviousDistraction :

gotta see what platform you're supposed to be on

Razor :

Had to check google map 20 times to make sure I'm in the right train. Lucky never caught the wrong one.

crazyrockman :

I could write a novel on how many trains I took the wrong way and I’ve only been here for a week 😭😭😭

Sheriff Bongo :

I did this on my second to last day in Tokyo! Right track, just 1 minute ahead of the one I was SUPPOSED to get on… ended up like 5 stops passed where I needed to get off, had to find my way back to Tokyo Skytree 😭

Eric :

Ofc it’s Shiga
