You can argue that a Lagos Governor should understand Yoruba to promote our cultural identity. That’s fair. But don’t claim speaking Yoruba helps solve Lagos’ problems. There is no problem confronting Lagos today that requires the Governor to speak Yoruba to provide a solution.
