@maria.radeo: For several years, I wanted so badly to try making videos for brands, but it seemed impossible because I literally felt dead after my full-time job. By the end of the day, I barely had any energy left for anything. But thanks to my L’Oréal Luxe experience, it felt much more natural to try myself in the beauty space. I had always loved beautiful bottles in my bathroom, taking care of myself and all the girly things, but I barely knew anything about cosmetics. I didn’t understand fragrances, creams or makeup. I didn’t even know how to do my makeup properly (and still learning)). But L’Oréal changed me. I became much more interested in beauty, and around ten months ago, I finally decided to try my first collaboration! OMG how much my videos have evolved since then! I’ve even archived my first collaborations because the quality was so low that I feel uncomfortable showing them to anyone. But looking back at them also made me realise how much I have evolved: better quality, better pacing, more creative ideas and much more confidence. Maybe my videos are still not perfect, but I understand now that we have to start ugly before we can evolve and turn something into something beautiful. Now I’ve completed more than 40 collaborations with some of the biggest international beauty brands, received so many incredible products and somehow already found myself at my second creator event, where I had a face massage, got my makeup done and left with even more gifts 🤭✨ So don’t give up on your ideas.
