My first child was breast fed by another woman, I shared room with 3 other moms, I went to the bathroom that was located in our room, when I came out I saw my babies bed beside hers, and nurse was latching my son onto her boob, I was like wtf that’s my son. They both looked at me confused and said no I’m like yes,,, I had put a lil stuffed animal in baby bed because at that time there was 36 babies in nursery so it was just easier for me to find him. So I had noticed his bed and stuffy.. nurse checked moms and babies id wrist band sure enough my son. !! This was 35 years ago I’m still pissed!

Something similar happen to me the person baby die and I had a C_section so I could remember seeing my child how she looking cause I was not asleep.The nurse made the mistake.When I came out emergency and was taken to recover they told me my baby die the other mother was telling me.Sorry for ur lost and I was trying to understand what she saying cause I no my baby alive.In the end I got my child and the mother was upset by she was out of it.I couldn't stand the taught of losing my child

its literally like a golden rule in my community to not let the baby leave your side unless its for the little basic tests and even then the spouse or family member paid attention to where the baby was going

When I had my son years ago a nurse asked me did I want to feed him. She brought him to the room in her arms, when I looked I said that’s not my baby. She said oh and took the baby back. Then bought me my son. Still carrying him no incubator.
