I can relate to this. Over 8 years of bullsh1t that’s worsening. I’m at a point I can’t breathe without pain all across my upper abdomen. It started after I was hit with a subclinical virus/infection and at one point couldn’t stand up for long. Was gaslighted until I was diagnosed with dysautonomia. Now have sore throbbing pain in my upper abdomen and feel awful. All scans clear! It’s barbaric.

same here story very similar over 8 years I been fighting for diagnosis all the while I'm wasting away they just call me an inigma which is no use to me. been gaslight from my gp for years now so when I'm really poorly I won't ring the Dr's because it just soul destroying when they don't listen or help 💔

I've had this and they have been giving me fluids and been told migraines I lost my speech and get numbness in my hands I'm getting dizzy scans are clear still no closet to what it is

I had 5 endometriosis tell me i haven't got endometriosis when old consultant diagnosed nd lefted the NHS cos he tired of the system xx I have endo all my life so just it doesn't show on mri doesn't mean I have still got it considering the amount of pain am in xx

Well said!! Whether it’s ourselves or someone we love - a lot of doctors especially in hospitals won’t listen to us because we aren’t medically trained. We might not be, but we know our own bodies or know more about our loved ones than anyone else and we know when something is wrong. Unfortunately the majority of the time our concerns are ignored and overlooked and sometimes this results in devastating consequences! Unfortunately sometimes it also comes down to money and the patients age and history etc as to whether they will even do much investigation! Something needs to change! x

thank you for sharing this post. May god give you strength to keep going and I pray and hope you getting better soon. Since December my ankle has been jn a boot my own doctors are listening but the fracture clinic are not seeing a 4gh doctor in November my ankle is not hurting for no reason, same ankle I broke in 3 places 8years. It makes me so angry that 3 doctor's have told me 3 different stories why are they not listening to what I am telling them, where the pain is, why I can not move it so much. We will see what the 4th doctor says I am fed up.

omg ive started biologic s an started lchocking ive been on antibiotics 9 weeks .im not having this got a phone consolation on wed s.ive got psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalia. im on holiday now even drinking a cup of coffee can hurt to drink it .but not all the time xxx

I’ve been going to the doctors and hospitals for 33 years with pain in my body and while I’m getting old my pain is increasing. I struggle to walk, I’m in constant pain day in day out and only last year they diagnosed me with fibromyalgia which is incurable as there is one painkillers out there strong enough to even ease the pain. Over the last 33 years I’ve had every pain killer out there and nothing works. Most night I sit at home contemplating on going to the hospital, but I think to myself why bother they don’t listen and I’m just going to be sent home after a 4 hour plus waiting in the waiting area at the hospital on uncomfortable chairs will that’s if I can even sit down. I feel that the doctor need to go back to medical school.

Yes my husband had a blood clot on his lung and before this they thought it was a suspected heart attack paramedic came didn’t put him in a chair made him in a chair onto the ambulance they decided to give him oxygen because they saw me with a stick are you ok I told them don’t worry about me get him sorted and it was even worse in AN E hope you are ok it’s the hospital

omg some of your symptoms sound like yours i phoned the gp yesterday about my mentle health no sleeping shaking with anxiety packing floors but the cant see me for 2 weeks I could get worse by then hope your ok beautiful [Starry hearts][Starry hearts][Starry hearts]

I had a 6 month fight with gynecology telling them i know there's something wrong . . bleeding 15 yrs after menopause . . i refused to give up and eventually was given an apology after being offered a 15 minute consultation which turned into an hour . .first thing I asked him was when he got his super powers being able to diagnose someone he'd never met . . i had my say . .he listened and apologised and said he made a mistake and needed a full hysterectomy ASAP i also got apology in writing . I then trusted this consultant as he was honest admitting he'd made a big mistake . . had my opp and never felt better . .

Aww I’m so sorry this happened to you. It happened to my daughter. She was always anemic growing up constant iron supplements. Very very long story very short 3 years ago at 22 she woke up to Coca Cola colour urine in agony with back but was still being fobbed off for 2 months while in cronic pain and she turned to me and said mummy please help me I’m dying. I pleaded with a urologist who noticed small dip in kidney function nothing alarming. Within 4 hours she had complete kidney failure and was having dialysis and blood transfusions. She has been diagnosed with PNH and now has lifelong treatment. 🥺 No one listened to us gps pretty much daily for 2 months, A & E 4 times. They said she had urine infection gave antibiotics but never had one! I paid to speak to gp on line who said there’s something seriously wrong which I knew and my daughter knew. She knew at 10 even though her only symptoms were anaemia and very tiny random bruises the size of end of a pencil end. It’s a constant battle even with diagnosis due to all the side issues she gets with it. 😢
