AirAsia are crooks. Not so low cost if add some extras. I booked two tickets and paid extra for one 20kg checked luggage each. The assigned one extra 7kg carry on each. When I highlighted their error they said I cannot change and that I can add 20kg checked luggaes for additional costs. Couldn't cancel the ticket either. Then after many backwards and forwards ails they sent a final email saying ok I can upgrade the checked carry on to checked luggage for RM50 each. And they sent it from a no reply email. I forfeited both tickets. That was 7 years ago. Never flew AirAsia again. And never will. On the meantime I flew a number of times on China Southern, Shenzhen Airlines, Macao Air, Hainan Airlines..... All full service and cheaper if you add the cost of luggage and meals that you have to pay extra for on AirAsia. Oh and except for Hainan Airline, the others all fly out of and into KLIA 1.
