I have to mask highly around my family cause they don’t understand what autism is and there is no acceptance. They just judge my behaviors or lack of whatever I don’t do that they regard highly.

It’s hard when you try to tell parent how you feel and they tell you that everyone goes through this or everyone has the same issue. They only want to hear about your achievements or your anger / negative feelings towards other people.
