My daughter asked and i said “i just like the way it makes me feel” but we always tell her how beautiful her hair is. She has hair like my husband a rich dark brown ❤️

reverse balyage. They'll bring your natural colour back through the highlights and it won't look so blocky. Or you could just dye it all your natural colour!

I’m the same I’m naturally ginger and my daughters natural ginger and my mom always says to me how can you preach about how beautiful her hair is but you die yours constantly 🤣 so I’ve gone back natural… with a. Few highlights 🤣💖 xx

I don’t know the technical terms but I asked my hairdresser for a low maintenance way to go natural and I think she did a reverse balayage? My hair wasn’t blonde like yours but it had years of box dye and banding and the way she did it grew out so well ♥️

u dont need to be natural to feel beautiful.. its about the way it makes you feel. and if u can have a bit of hair colour to make u feel better there is nothing wrong with that at all. she is a child they do not ask the questions and adult would gove her a simple answer and it will be normal to her not creating a taboo subject.

Totally agree! However, what I say to my daughter is that as I am an adult I get to choose how I want to present myself. That didn’t mean there was anything bad about my hair or whatever before hand it just means I get to choose 🫶🏻

I always think this when women get surgery and change their facial features, I get why they feel the need to do it and I’m not judging… but how will their daughters know if they have their lips/nose/face 🥺

I did toners to soften the highlights when I wanted to stop dying my hair it really helped. You can tone it your natural colour also 🥰

I grew out my hair when my daughter was born as I’m ginger but dyed it blonde for years and I knew as soon as she was born she was ginger too as her eyebrows were almost orange but the scrutiny I got for being ginger as a kid I didn’t want her to feel like she had to dye her hair too to feel “accepted” in a way or feel she was different to me either. She’s now 8 and loves her ginger hair and is beautiful and loves that her and mummy match 🥰

Oh no, I have no problem telling my daughter that I love being blonde! I tell her that her natural colour is far more beautiful than mine as I’m starting to go grey!
