sorry for the long break | 🇰🇼 Kuwait is a small country with a history far greater than its size. Located in the northeastern Arabian Peninsula, Kuwait has long been an important center of trade, pearling, and maritime activity in the Gulf. Its people built their society through hard work, seafaring, commerce, and strong connections with neighboring regions. Over time, Kuwait developed into a modern state while preserving its traditions and cultural identity. The discovery of oil transformed the country’s economy and helped Kuwait invest in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and the development of its cities. Kuwait also became known for its humanitarian contributions and its support for countries and communities across the Arab world and beyond. Kuwait’s history has not always been easy. The country faced major challenges, including the Iraqi invasion in 1990. Kuwaitis showed remarkable resilience during the occupation, while the international coalition eventually liberated Kuwait in 1991. The experience became an important part of Kuwait’s modern national identity and strengthened the country’s sense of unity. Today, Kuwait continues to combine its deep history with modern development. From its traditional maritime heritage and historic neighborhoods to its modern skyline and institutions, Kuwait represents a country that has continued to grow while holding onto its roots. 🇰🇼 Kuwait may be small on the map, but its history, culture, resilience, and influence have given it a place far greater than its size. A nation built by its people, shaped by its history, and proud of its identity. 🇰🇼 #fyp #kuwait #kuwaiti #khaleeji #🇰🇼 - @.sinisterlarper
