If you're the PM and you're running the meeting, it's on you to guide the participants to the right level of abstraction for you. They can pick up the details in more targeted meetings

i think it's hard to balance between managing and technical.. it's hard bcoz u cant divide your focus on both issue.. the master of one and the jack of all trades..

Hi, I'm the draftsman. This is literally me in meetings, and they trust me to just come up with stuff. I try and tell them "guys, I just draw circles on my computer and add dimensions.". But they just trust that I know what I'm doing. Even after...no, especially after one of my designs literally exploded during testing lol.

me asking the pm for all the customers details and then 3 days before all my drawings are due he goes "how are they fitting a second conveyor underneath" when he never told me that had to happen so I had to scramble to redesign the legs in time before it hit production
