For the laminated dough, I used a classic croissant dough with 16 layers and a layer of black dough, creating a beautiful contrast throughout the pastry. Filled with almond frangipane and white chocolate drops, then baked until beautifully golden and crisp. Finished with sugar syrup, piped marzipan and almond slices for the perfect almond finish.
