@guardiansport: “I think people think: ‘Lamine is 19, he’ll win it at some point, so let’s say someone else …’” Lamine Yamal has already achieved what no player in history has – lifting both the Euro and World Cup trophies before turning 20. Speaking with the Guardian Sport, the Barcelona and Spain star addressed the Ballon d’Or debate head on. While voters weigh established names like Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappé, and Rodri, Lamine Yamal insists that age shouldn't obscure who should win the prestigious prize. “I just have to win, win, win, and there will be a time when there’s no debate,” he told our Spanish football correspondent Sid Lowe. Does Lamine Yamal deserve the Ballon d’Or this year, or are you backing someone else?
