Reason to not just destroy eggs you think aren’t good: when I was breeding bearded dragons my female laid 18 eggs at the end of the season (27 eggs in her first clutch). 9/18 of the eggs from the second clutch didn’t look good at the time of them being laid. I decided to incubate anyways. Eventually all 9 of them went bad. I figured the rest must’ve gone bad too and unplugged the incubator since it was the end of the season. For whatever reason I didn’t toss the eggs and eventually moved the incubator into my living room while I rearranged my room. I came out and saw a bay bearded dragon on my living room floor. The rest of the eggs eventually hatched.
