GOOD MORNING, Y’ALL! 😂 I wrote a song. Okay, I did NOT write a song. AI wrote a song. But I did provide the source material, which was our family group text absolutely losing it last night over a PAPER PLATE. 😂 Y’all don’t know my middle son Chase as well because he stays off social media, but he has Evie, who has apparently inherited Uncle Hunter’s (aka Huh Huh) very selective relationship with food. Hunter has eaten about five things his entire life, and Evie said, “Hold my chicken nugget.” 😂 Last night she was eating chicken nuggets and got upset because her paper plate had a GREEN SPOT on it. That was all it took. Chase reported the emergency to the family group text, Emily-Anne was dead, Hunter defended Evie because of COURSE he did, Kenny laughed, and I welcomed Chase to my world. And somewhere along the way I decided this historic family event deserved to be preserved in SONG. 😂 Y’ALL. When that woman started SANGING about this green plate like she had been hurt, betrayed and called to testify before the church, I could not hold myself together. 😂 And honestly, this whole video reminded me how much I love laughing with my kids. We laughed constantly when they were growing up, and we still do. Our group texts are ridiculous. We pick at each other. We laugh at ourselves. And there is nobody on this earth I would rather sit around and do absolutely nothing with than my kids and Kenny. If you’re not laughing with your kids, start. Have FUN with them. Life moves way too fast not to. Meanwhile, Kenny is still hurting from his fall, so depending on whether Aunt Kathy can secure the John Fogerty/Fogelberg/WHATEVER-HIS-NAME-IS tickets 😂 we may head home early. And if Kenny can’t drive this bus home, I don’t know what to tell y’all because TRUST AND BELIEVE, I am not driving it. And if we DO come home early, somebody alert my lash lady because I cannot continue appearing on the internet looking like this until next Tuesday. I will lose followers. 😂 Bad lighting. No lashes. Injured husband. Possible early departure. But we have a hit song about a green spot on a paper plate.
