@anastasiabeautyfascia: Does your jaw click when you open your mouth? Try this release with me. TMJ clicking can have a lot to do with what is happening inside the joint, including the articular disc, joint capsule and the way the jaw is moving. But the pain and tightness you feel around it can also involve the masseter, temporalis, pterygoid muscles and surrounding fascia. That’s why I don’t aggressively press on the clicking joint itself. I work with the tension around it and help the jaw move with less unnecessary muscular resistance. Try this tutorial slowly on both sides and then open and close your mouth again. Notice what feels different. And remember: clicking without pain is different from clicking with pain, locking or limited opening. Those symptoms deserve a proper TMJ assessment. Save this release and follow for more jaw and facial anatomy techniques. 🤍
