I’ve been researching since my daughter was 2 and I’m still researching and trying things and she’s 4. She really loves learning and asks for worksheets every single day. I settles on TGTB for now as she knows all her letter sounds and was starting to blend on her own (not understanding that if she slowed down and stretched the sounds it became a word) so I found prek curriculum that was way to easy and now she’s in K for ELA and math and is reading cvc words with only occasional support. She’s doing so much on her own! Right now she’s consistently counting to 40 without help and needs help remembering the next set of numbers

Alex Mathews :
Also when you get a legit teaching degree you’re learning mostly classroom management, not the actual content of what you’re teaching. That’s what curriculum is for…why would you need a degree in classroom management if you’re teaching your kid 1:1!!!

If the kids are at grade level there should be no problems. It's always the public school parents whose kids are falling behind that give me grief.
