TIKTOK CREATOR & ALS ADVOCATE BROOKE EBY DIES AT 37 Brooke Eby, the social media creator and ALS advocate known online as @limpbroozkit, has died at the age of 37. The ALS Network announced her death on October 1, 2026. Eby became widely known on TikTok and other social platforms for documenting life with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease. She was diagnosed with ALS in March 2022 at age 33 after experiencing symptoms for years. Instead of hiding the realities of the disease, Brooke brought hundreds of thousands of people into her journey. Her videos mixed humor, honesty and education as she documented the progression of ALS and helped people who had never encountered the disease understand what living with it could look like. Her work eventually extended beyond social media. Brooke founded ALStogether, an online peer community where people living with ALS and their caregivers could connect, exchange information and support one another. The ALS Network had also begun integrating ALStogether into its organization in 2026 to expand the community’s reach and resources. Following Brooke’s death, ALS Network President and CEO Sheri Strahl said Brooke changed both the way people see ALS and the way people living with ALS connect with one another. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff also publicly mourned Brooke, who worked for the company for approximately a decade, remembering her positivity and strength. Brooke previously explained that she hoped her online presence could remain as a “visual diary” for people affected by ALS. That makes the community she created part of the legacy she leaves behind.
