my great grandpa served in WW2. He survived the Japanese occupation, lost many of his comrades, and he's a survivor of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. when he went home he found out his wife, my great grandma, got sick. she died. he only had him and his daughter, my grandmother, left. they were barely scraping by once they made to '55, as no one would accept my great grandpa for any job, and everybody pestered and bullied him for his race and skin color. though, my grandma got into a good university, got a good job out of it, and they were able to get out of the rough life. but my great grandpa eventually got health complications. his surviving friends and comrades died due to natural causes, and joined them in heaven in 2010. he was, according to my grandma, the "kindest to the end". is he one of those mfs?

My Father left my mother for 3 years and I chose to live with him for a stupid reason. Ended up being the worst 4 years of living in my parents house I have ever experienced my Father had a GF who was a bitch. She told him everything and what to do. My Father only listened to her because she has 2 children herself. One was 16 now 21 his name is Timmy and one was 14 named Nikki. now 19. I went through constant beatings with metal brooms, mini stools thrown at me. Basically anything my father could find. I was always told to kneel in a corner for 2 hours sometimes even 3 hours till my knees bled. I was grounded for basically my whole time there for something I didn’t even do. I could only watch the TV. No phone. No games. Only books, TV, basketball, football, and Rubik’s cubes. I could never do anything. I always had to eat 4 day old microwaved meals for 4 years. Sometimes I’d get lucky and my father would buy fresh meat and cook fresh meals. Lemme tell you fresh meals tasted WAY better than those microwaved meals I ate. The only happiness was at my school with friends. Where I could actually be myself without being yelled at. Plus my school was the only place I could run, jump and have fun. At my father’s house I could only walk. I still get flashbacks of those horrible years to this day. I’d say. The nicest people during that time were my friends, Teachers, and both Timmy and Nikki.

My birth mother died of cancer when I was 4 and my dad got divorced and lost my two brothers but got to keep me. Sometimes I feel like I fail him because my brothers both graduated and did good in football. I play football and currently am a lineman at 145 pounds 😭😭 because we don’t need more WR and TE and QBs. My dad remarried to my current mother and had my sister. She makes the comment “ok adopted kid” when we get into fights and arguments. I countlessly get bullied at school still for being adopted. I’m not fully adopted am I?
