It’s crazy because after the in n out shooting at the Tesla chargers knowing they were all just sitting ducks scared the shit out of me so this is actually a great feature

I’d also love the ability to drive my car, at least 15-20 mph if my belt isn’t immediately attached. Not advocating for not using belts. I’m advocating for jump in and go in emergency situations. If my wife is fighting someone off, I don’t want her to deal with buckling up first to drive away.

Tesla should make an autoreel like those at the gas stations, and an ejectable charging handles feature from inside the car with a touch of a button for safety of the users.

And when this feature is used, Tesla could look at cars cameras, ensure an actual emergency was happening, and then either choose to charge the driver, or move on.

Thankful for this! I was scared charging one time. A man was circling the chargers at night and I was really worried he was going to get out and come up to my car. I haven’t charged at night since.
