When someone says 13th letter of the alphabet, or 15th letter or watever, a quick way to count through is to cut the alphabet in half, you just need to remember that the halfway point is 13, which is the Middle of the alphabet, and is M. so instead of counting 15 along you can just count two after M and you'll get it much quicker. If its 10, count 3 back etc.
