@bellavita8203: As I’m sure many of you know by now, I’m a mom to a daughter with Type 1 Diabetes. 💙 And sometimes I don’t think people truly understand what life with T1D looks like behind the scenes. Every 3 days, I change my daughter’s pod—one of the many extra steps we take to give her body the insulin it needs. So today I’m sharing a small glimpse into our life with Type 1 Diabetes. Not for sympathy, but for awareness. Because these kids are some of the strongest little warriors I’ve ever seen. 💙 They go to school. They play sports. They laugh, dream, grow and do all the things other kids do… they just have a few extra steps along the way. Here’s to more awareness. More education. More understanding.
