Once you understand this about high notes, you’ll be able to sing them with so much more ease. Part of what makes them so hard is the fear of them, so we need to think of them as just another part of our range, like any other note Another thing that makes them challenging is the misconception that high notes require a lot of volume & effort. That’s actually what often gets in the way! Clear, ringing high notes require an efficient onset & vocal cord coordination that actually feels SMALL & like very little in the throat. The volume actually comes more from the acoustic space of an open throat than from effort in the throat muscles. That open space does a lot of the work for you! Once you remove the unnecessary tension from pushing & focus first on LIGHTNESS in your higher range, you’ll be surprised at how this counterintuitive approach makes those notes feel so much easier. For more personalized help with this, check the link in my bio for info about learning voice with me. Good luck & see you soon ❤️
