Just had colonoscopy yesterday at 45. No symptoms or family history. Found 5 small polyps 2-4mm. Imagine if I would’ve waited. They were all removed. Just go get checked. Nothing beats a piece of mind.

Definitely not true I have blood in stool and my poop was thin just got a colonoscopy they found nothing at all just inflammation

Diagnosed two years ago. I ignored signs. Underwent chemo and radio with an op to remove the tumour. I now live with a stoma bag. Don't ignore the signs.

On June 27, 2026, I lost a very dear friend to colon cancer. She fought incredibly hard for 3.5 tough years. She was so brave! She left behind her amazing husband, 1 adult daughter and 3 young adopted daughters. She was such an amazing mom!!! I miss her terribly 😢 See you in heaven, Dawn 💖

For about 6 months I would get a dudden wave of nausea which would disappear quickly. No rhyme or reason, no set time totally random. The In October I started getting a low grade ache in my lower right groin area. Thought bowel issues but it persisted for two weeks, went to my doctor she thought maybe a UTI and prescribed antibiotics. 10 days and dark achy, doctor pressed around on m abdomen and along my right hip said apendic seems fine, another 10 days antibiotics and still having low grade pain. Made an appointment with a urologist. 10 day wait ho in snd they have to do dome prelim tests, testing urine and doing glow tests, come back in 10 days to see doctor. 10 days later see doctor And he says so you are incontenient . I say no I’m not here because I per my pants I am in pain. I have had ovarian cancer I need to know if I have bladder cancer or kidney cancer. He pushed my chart aside and said ok I’ll order a CT scan. They discovered a 6 milli tumor on my appendix. It was growing. It was removed but they also needed to take my right colon and part of my intestine and 13 lymph nodes. Chemo followed that. So far cancer free. You have to advocate for yourself snd you have to pay attention to your body. Unexplainable pain check it out. Don’t ever just leave anything to see if anything develops. If it should not be there check it out.

Fact: one can't completely sterilize the scope used for colonoscopy......better way the risk reward......

I was 26 when I was first diagnosed, I was 13 months postpartum having bad night sweats and abdominal discomfort that wouldn’t go away. I just thought my body was changing after the baby, turned out I had blood in my stool. Listen to your body if something is off seek medical advice. I’m 26 years cancer free 💜

My daughter had colon cancer when she was 42 also , she had it removed and did not have to go through chemo like i did she is in remission also thank you Jesus !

I’m 72. I have had a colonoscopy every 3 years since maybe 50. Every time I have polyps. Due to go back in January. And yes I have all the symptoms. My daddy died from inoperable colon cancer at 84.

lost my good friend to colon cancer at 28 yrs old. Her first sign was constant diarrhea. Her Dr never checked her for colon cancer stating she was too young. By the time they did check her she was already in stage 4.
