0.25 Farad Cap
A single 0.25F benchmark discharge time
B 2x series = 0.125F = 1/2 discharge time than A
C 2x parallel = 5F = 2x discharge time than A

C longest. A and B will be the same, because B is charged to only 50%

B burns longer (but almost the same as A)
C burns brighter.

C, because a capacitor is basically just two metal plates with an insulator in between. If you put two in parallel, the plate area, where electrons accumulate, doubles, thus the capacitance is also twice as big

A) .25F B) .125F C) .5F so C discharges slower.

C. Wouldn't B up the voltage but not the capacity?

Time constant=R*C, the largest value of C is only possible with option C so the correct answer is C

A capacitor discharges exponentially: single gives standard duration, series reduces capacitance (shorter glow), and parallel increases capacitance for a longer LED runtime.

B is only 50% charged, so it would be the same as A, C would be double as long

so funny to see information from my field because sometimes it feels like everyone knows this and it's obvious but that is simply not the case

Current on each cap will be highest in B meaning it will be the fastest.. current on each cap will be lowest in C meaning it will be the longest.

parallel combination increases effecttice capacitance - energy stored is increases so series case will glow brighterest

That's a 25000 μF capacitor so it's 0.025 Farads, not a 0.25. Still huge capacity and I did not expect it to discharge so quickly.

there are formulas for calculating the capacitance for capacitors in series and capacitors. in parallel, the parallel Arrangements will double the capacitance in series. I think it's one over capacitor. 1 + 1 over capacitor 2.... One over capacitor n
