@founding.mena: TruKKer started with a simple problem: a business needed more trucks than it could find. Gaurav Biswas first tried solving that problem in India. The model struggled because customers needed reliable truck supply across multiple cities, and building that network was too expensive. So he shut it down and restarted in Dubai. That move gave TruKKer a more concentrated freight market to build around. Then came another insight: truck drivers were often getting paid less than customers were charged, and waiting weeks for the money. TruKKer made faster, predictable payment part of the pitch to drivers. Today, the platform connects 75,000 trucks with 1,200 companies across 11 countries.
