Putting groups together can also be a lovely way to introduce people we love, and sometimes they love each other too. And I think it’s pretty cool to feel secure enough in relationships that introducing more love into the lives of the ones we love can feel like safe, warm, lifelong growth and community.

Practice makes perfect :
I like to be very close to a couple people. Big groups make me anxious because i don’t trust everyone because we aren’t super close. I then feel like i can’t be myself or share things.

This is a timely topic for me because I’ve recently been introspective about it. I tend to naturally avoid being pulled into friend groups - would rather try and connect with individuals. I tend to withdraw a bit when a group expects me to conform.
