Exactly. There’s a difference between “black men are hard to love” and “the black men I’ve dated were hard to love”.

All these videos & this is the first time I heard someone bring up their son. I damn near cried! Sister in Christ your son will be resilient & he will HAVE to be because this world & I’ll keep it pg13 out of respect because you can use you imagination.. reference the news (propagandas, stereotypes, tragedies) & the narratives online!! & a woman’s feelings are valid from her traumas especially if it started with her Dad. But black men/boys are not less than any other race nor 3/5th how we (black) are all ultimately treated by this society. Thankyou

You raising your son to be a decent human being and good man, because as you should…but it does not negate the fact that millions of women are having horrible dating experiences and have been traumatized by men starting back to their own father. These men need to stop being coddled, because they have no problem with telling us to choose better and do the work in the healing.🤷🏽♀️we grow up in traumatizing households as well, but we aren’t out here, taking it out on the masses the way they do in droves. They need to go to THERAPY. They don’t want to love

Okay but divorce rates 🧍🏾♀️I think two things can be true here. If we can accept that it’s traumatizing to be black in America, we should be open to the conversation about how that affects relationships.

Absolutely agree! A whole lot of Heartburn Could've been Avoided by Say SOME Black Men are hard to Love. what's so hard about saying it like that??

The original creator COULD HAVE said "some", but that wouldn't be incendiary enough. Wouldn't have grabbed the traction she wanted.

😳You naming your son as the black man you love instead of YOUR black man, spouse, or Husband is proving their point ma’am. Enmeshed relationships with their mothers are destroying their development.

It would be accurate to say SOME black men are hard to love. But to say Black Men are hard to love implies ALL black Men. And that’s a stereotype put forth by women who have been hurt by black men. No one’s PERSONAL experience should reflect on the entirety of a people. Dr. King implored us to judge each other by the content of our character. People who participate in these stupid gender wars are blinded by the hurt they experience. And they are no longer able to think logically. Thank you for your honest and accurate observations🙏👍🏾🎯💪🏾🙏

I love my black man. I love how my black man loves me. I love how my black father loves his wife. I love how my black grandfather loved my grandmother. There’s men of every race that aren’t good partners but somehow black men are the worst. I hate the stereotypes.

I just no longer wanna hear “black community”. This isnt a “community” we are just individuals sharing an experience but we all hate each other. The lights and the darks hate each other, the young and the old, the women and the men, the married and the singles, the rich and the poor, all black people seem to hate a specific group of black people. WE ARE NOT A DAMN COMMUNITY! COMMUNITIES DO NOT TREAT EACH OTHER LIKE THIS!!!
