my boyfreind litterally started out for me as a work crush, we used to work at a pet store together (thats how we met) and it was litterally instant for me as soon as I saw him, he asked me out a few months after meeting, we have been together for over a year now, i didnt even know he liked me back at first, until one night he almost asked me out, this was only a month after we met, this was a little bit before or after my birthday, he was like "so do you have any plans after this?" (after our shift) i was like "not really no why?" he said "not that i wanna ask you or anything im just curuious." I hadn't even thought about the possibility that he was going to like me ba k until that moment I litterally though "wait what did he just say? did he really just say that?" I genuinely thought i was going insane until he asked me out, I was litterally going to ask him myself at this point of time he did because I genuinely thought he was so damn cute! but he beat me to that, and once again, we have been together for over a year now and we are still so deeply in love, in fact on my end its just gotten deeper, especially now sense we cant physically be together right now.. due to distance, I love him so much, but yeah, we started out as coworkers.

if you're anything like me then work is most of your life which makes work crushes so much more unbearable cuz I don't really go anywhere outside of work so I also must just deal with a crush on a person who I just happen to see every day 🫠

I would just ask him if he’s dating anyone and if it’s hard to date in Austin cuz you’re new there. Or be like “are you dating Jennifer ?” And he will be like “who?” Just say “oh well nvm I thought someone mentioned you were dating her…no gf then?” Then you’ll know cuz he should say if who he bats for. 🤷♀️worth a try. I never got to experience a work crush I don’t like the people I work with there’s nothing wrong with them I just don’t trust them cause they’ll only put themselves first so that’s why I keep my distance. We only talk about work. Other than that, I don’t talk to them.
