@thenollywire: What kept Ose Oyamendan, director of the ‘MKO Abiola Documentary’, going through 13 years of filming? After the special screening at the National Theatre on Independence Day, we asked him what kept him committed to the story for so long. Here’s what he had to say. The documentary revisits a defining chapter in Nigerias democratic history, the June 13, 1993 presidential election, its annulment and the pro-democracy struggle that followed. It also chronicles the life, political journey and legacy of Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola. MKO Abiola Documentary is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
