@masterzhigangsha: People sometimes misunderstand forgiveness. They may think forgiving someone means agreeing with what happened, forgetting the experience, or allowing the same behavior to continue. That is not how I understand this practice. Forgiveness can begin as an inner decision that says, “I do not want this experience to continue occupying the same place in my heart every day.” That process can take time. I have met many people who discover that forgiveness is not one single decision. Sometimes we return to it again as we understand an experience from a deeper perspective. In today’s video, my Leading Teacher Francisco shares a practical way to explore this teaching. As you listen, consider one question: Is there a memory you continue revisiting even though the event itself has already passed? You do not need to change how you feel immediately. Becoming aware of what you are carrying is already meaningful.
