Ingredients For the Matcha - ~1.5 tsp matcha kokoro @COSMICCULTURES - 1/2 cup milk of choice (I love A2 Whole and/or Coconut) - 1/4 cup hot filtered water (176 degrees F) - Extra hot water to bloom whisk (176 degrees F) For the Fig Cream - 1/4 cup heavy cream - 1 tbsp milk - 1 tbsp fig jam - 1/4 tsp vanilla powder - Pinch of salt Recipe 1. Bloom whisk in hot water 2. To make fig jam, add heavy cream, milk, fig jam, vanilla powder and salt to a bowl, use a fork to slightly break up the fig jam and mix into the cream, then use a handheld frother or whisk to froth everything together for about a minute until it doubles in size and thickens, but stays pourable (you don’t want it becoming whipped cream) 3. Sieve matcha into chawan or bowl 4. Pour 2 tbsp hot water slowly over matcha, use bamboo whisk and lightly tap down to evenly distribute, then perform a zig zag motion until matcha forms a glossy and smooth paste 5. Add in another 2 tbsp hot water and whisk until it becomes frothy 6. Separately, add ice to your cup of choice 7. Pour in milk, top with matcha, and fig cream 8. Garnish with a fig, and enjoy!!!!
