you can't discontinue a subway sandwich, its literally built to order. as long as the ingredients are there, its whatever you want. those named subs are just suggestions thats the best part about subway.

Seafood sensation! My favorite sandwich of all time. Yes I know it’s just mayo & imitation crab but it’s so much better with subway mayo. And the original honey mustard! Not the current one.

When I worked at my local college cafeteria, I made a pizza version of it and was such a huge hit that the students who knew about the sub asked for a hot sandwich substitute if they didn’t want it on crust. When I quit, I left the written recipe to my coworker and it’s one of the most requested meals on their campus♥️

You can’t order it. Can’t order the subway melt anymore either. Only because most Subways don’t have anyone who’s worked there long enough to know what it is. So she ordered it the correct way to get what she wants.
